Description
AWN Teaching Artists are motivated, independent instructors with a strong background in fine arts. The Teaching Artist position is rooted in a core belief towards social justice created and supported through access to the arts for everyone. We currently have multiple openings for qualified Teaching Artists to lead classes for our fall session for student age groups ranging from school age to 55 and better. Skills sought after include mixed media sculpture for youth, digital arts, and arts career development. We welcome the opportunity to discuss any specialization in creative practice you bring to the table.

AWN requires all employees to be fully vaccinated and boosted against COVID-19. New hires are required to show proof of vaccination status prior to their first day of work. In addition, AWN implements and requires staff to adhere to safety precautions (such as wearing masks 100% of the time while working onsite) in response to pandemic case trends and/or local, state or federal mandates and regulations.Location
